Source of funding
The funding and monitoring code that records which body is funding an aim, including whether it is national or devolved.

The source of funding records who is paying: national funding or a particular devolved authority. It is what routes an aim to the correct funder and the correct set of rules.
For adult skills, it must be consistent with the learner's home postcode at the aim start date. An inconsistency here is a funding error, not a presentational one.
The rules behind this
For adult skills provision, the learner's home postcode determines whether their funding is national or devolved to a combined or strategic authority, and therefore which rules apply.

If the 'Level 3 Free Courses for Jobs' learning delivery monitoring code has been returned and the aim has LARS category code 'Free Courses for Jobs – MCA and GLA only flexible delivery qualifications' then the Source of funding indicator must be a Combined Authority

The learner is between 19 and 24 and has an Education health plan, and the Funding model and/or Source of funding is not the 16-19 funded
If the learner is aged 19 to 24 on 31 August of the current teaching year, and is agency funded, and the learner has a 'Education health care plan', then the Source of funding must be 16-19 funding

The learner is under 19 and the Source of funding is not 16-19 funding
For aims that are 16-19 funded (FM = 25 or 82), and the learner is under 19 on 31 August of the current teaching year, the source of funding must be 16-19 funding (SOF 107)
