What the site is for
The site provides free general information, learning material and tools about further education funding and the Individualised Learner Record (ILR). It is independent and is not part of, or endorsed by, the Department for Education or any other government body.
Check before you rely on it
We work to keep the content accurate and link it to the official sources it draws on, but funding rules change and every college's circumstances differ. The content and tool results are general information and estimates, not professional or legal advice. Before you make a funding, data or submission decision, check it against the official DfE publications, your own records and, where needed, professional advice.
The calculators and trackers give estimates or indicative figures. They are not your allocation and do not replace DfE's own calculations, validation or reports.
Using the site
- Do not enter learner personal data into any form, calculator or question box. None of them needs it.
- Do not try to disrupt the site, get around its usage limits, or use automated means to make heavy use of it.
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

ILR Lens is downloaded and used under the terms set out in its own documentation and installer, which apply in addition to these terms.
