Funding model

The ILR field that determines which funding rules and which calculation apply to a learning delivery.

In full

The funding model is the switch that decides which rulebook applies. 25 is 16 to 19, 36 apprenticeships, 38 Adult Skills Fund, 11 tailored learning, 37 Skills Bootcamps and 99 non-funded. Legacy models continue only for aims that started under them.

If the funding model is wrong, everything downstream is wrong: the rules applied, the money calculated, the reports the record appears on and the evidence an auditor will ask for.

The rules behind this

Official requirement

The funding model recorded against a learning delivery determines which funding rules, which calculation and which reports apply to it.
