Tailored learning

Non-formula-funded adult provision, previously community learning and non-regulated learning, with its own funding model and allocation.

In full

Tailored learning covers adult provision that is not formula funded, including what was previously called community learning and non-regulated provision.

It is recorded under its own ILR funding model and reconciled against its own allocation, and must not be blended with formula-funded Adult Skills Fund delivery.

The rules behind this

Official requirement

Tailored learning is funded and recorded separately from formula-funded Adult Skills Fund provision, under its own funding model, and must not be blended with it.
