Allocation
The amount of funding a provider is told it may earn or receive for a stream in a funding year.

An allocation sets what a provider can expect for a funding stream in a year. For some streams it is effectively a budget to be earned against; for others it is calculated from previous years' data.
Reading an allocation statement well means understanding which elements are formula-driven, which are lagged, and which are subject to reconciliation.
