Completion element
The share of apprenticeship funding held back and paid when the apprentice completes.
In full
A proportion of the negotiated price is not paid monthly but is held until the apprentice completes their apprenticeship, including end-point assessment where applicable.
This is why late or missing completion recording has a direct and often substantial cash effect, not just a performance one.
