A weekly enrichment session counted in planned hours is withdrawn after half term. Nobody thinks of it as a funding decision.

The rules behind this
A 16 to 19 student's funding band is determined by their planned hours for the year (the total of planned qualification hours and other planned, timetabled, education-related activity), together with their age and whether they have high needs.
Planned hour changes for a 16 to 19 student are usually restricted to the first 6 weeks. If a planned activity stops before the end of the programme, the missed planned time must be replaced with other meaningful activity rather than the planned hours reduced. When a student finishes an element early, the planned hours are not amended and the reduction must not take them below the band first recorded.
16 to 19 provision is funded through a national formula applied to a student's study programme, not through a price per qualification.
Evidence is strongest when it is created at the time of the event it describes and is retrievable without reconstruction. Evidence assembled after a query is asked is weaker and takes longer to produce.
