The body set up to take on national responsibility for skills, including apprenticeships and technical education functions.

Skills England was established to bring together national responsibility for the skills system, including functions previously held by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and parts of the funding agency.
Because responsibilities have transferred over more than one funding year, documents from different years name different bodies. When you cite a rule, cite the document for the year you are working in rather than assuming which body owns it now.
