Learner employment status
The ILR record of a learner's employment circumstances at a point in time, used for eligibility and for apprenticeships.

Learner employment status records whether the learner is employed, for how long, and related circumstances, dated so that changes through the year are visible.
It affects eligibility for several adult entitlements and is required for apprenticeships, where the employment relationship is central to the funding.

A funded learner has no eligibility evidence on file
Funding has been claimed for the learner, but the college cannot produce the evidence that they were eligible for it. The claim may be entirely correct and still fail, because at audit the evidence is the claim.

A learner left weeks ago but is still showing as continuing
The learner has stopped attending, but the ILR still shows their aim as open with no actual end date, so the system believes they are still in learning and keeps generating funding for them.

A learner is flagged on a data quality or funding monitoring report
A record meets the criteria of a report that identifies data worth checking. That is a request to investigate, not a statement that the record is wrong. Some flagged records are entirely correct and simply need their evidence to be locatable.
