Glossary
Destination and progression
The ILR record of what a learner went on to do after their learning.
In full
Destination and progression records capture what a learner did next, such as employment or further study. They support outcome-based funding in some streams and progression reporting in others.
For streams funded partly on outcomes, these records carry money and need the same evidence discipline as any other funded field.
Where this comes up
scenario
A bootcamp outcome is achieved but never recorded
A learner gets a job after a Skills Bootcamp. Nobody records it, and the outcome milestone is not claimed.

The anatomy of the ILR
What is actually inside the Individualised Learner Record: the entities, how they nest, and which fields carry the funding.
diagnostic
The same learner appears twice
One person has been recorded twice, usually with two different learner reference numbers, and sometimes with two different ULNs. The system treats them as two people.
