Funding Intelligence
Government funding rules change constantly and differ by stream and academic year. We monitor the official sources automatically, track every version, and route risk-rated changes through human review before anything goes live.

From official source to your answer
Detect
A scheduled GitHub Action checks every registered source — DfE/ESFA and devolved strategic authorities — through the working day for a new version, changed publication date, new funding year, withdrawn document or altered content fingerprint.
Assess
Each change is risk-rated (High/Medium/Low) by funding stream and source type, and a detailed change report is generated.
Propose
A Pull Request updates the source registry and audit history. Nothing changes in production until a human reviews and merges it.
Publish
Once merged, the new version flows into FundingGPT citations and this dashboard, with full version history retained.
Monitored funding sources
Each source is tracked per funding stream and academic year, with its current version and status.
12 sources are pending URL verification (devolved authorities and candidate dated URLs) — monitored for reachability but not yet cited to users until confirmed.
Change history
Every detected change, approved through a reviewed Pull Request. Newest first.
No changes recorded yet. When the monitor detects a new version or an updated document, it opens a Pull Request with a risk-rated report; merged changes appear here as a timestamped audit entry.
Official datasets, with proven versions
The calculators and eligibility checks run on official reference data — learning-aim rates (LARS), apprenticeship funding bands and devolution boundaries. Here’s the exact version in use and when it was last verified.

Versions and verification dates come from the ingestion pipeline’s dataset-version log — not an assumed status. A new version raises a change for review before it is relied on.
Answers cited to an exact ruleset version
FundingGPT cites the exact ruleset version for the stream and year you choose, and blocks answers it can’t ground in an approved source. Ask it what changed, or browse the guidance.
